The parent body of chess in the state of West Bengal.Formed in the year 2012,the Bengal Chess Association got affiliation from the All India Chess Federation,the apex Body of chess in India in 18th. November 2012.

Bengal Chess Association is responsible for conducting selection and sending the players for Nationals in all categories,promoting chess in all the Districts and Educational Institutions,co ordinating all the chess activities and Tournaments in the state.
